Gav Thorpe inscrit parfaitement Ravenlord dans la saga et rend cette histoire indispensable pour la compréhension du rôle qu'a joué la Raven Guard durant l'Hérésie d'Horus.

Malgré d'assez bonnes nouvelles dans l'ensemble, il sera difficile de ne pas comparer ce recueil aux autres. Moins épique et moins varié il sera difficile de le conseiller malgré ses bonnes idées.

Avec cette nouvelle Gav Thorpe ne divertit même pas son monde et étouffe son récit sous des interrogations stratégiques qui auraient eu plus de sens si elles avaient été discutées avec Corax en personne. L'idée semblait bonne sur le papier, mais est clairement sous-exploitée ici.

Il n'y a rien à sauver dans Ravenwing. C'est l'un des plus mauvais romans de la Black Library qu'il m'ait été donné de lire, un mélange entre Le Retour des Anges et les pires épisodes de The Tranzia Rebellion. Fuyez pauvres fous !

Un très bon recueil. On n’atteint pas le même degré d’intérêt que Les Primarques, mais avec sept nouvelles, on ne reste pas sur sa faim concernant la Saga. Un tome à lire, surtout si vous n’avez jamais écouté les Audio.
