3.5/5The Reaping Time est une excellente porte d’entrée dans l’univers des Carcharodons. Elle éclaire l’origine de personnages-clés et donne un aperçu prometteur du Chapitre. Une lecture brève mais essentielle pour ceux qui veulent plonger dans l’océan noir, juste avant la marée rouge.

Les eshorts sont souvent frustrantes de part leur longueur et celle-ci ne déroge pas à la règle, surtout lorsqu'elles sont excellentes. L'auteur nous en offre un maximum en seulement quelques malheureuses pages. Seth VS Astorath, affaire à suivre.

Le récit de Tarolf est touchant, et il est facile de s'identifier à ce protagoniste qui devra vivre toute sa vie avec le poids de son échec. Sa récompense ? Avoir la responsabilité de forger des armures pour les Space Wolves ayant réussi l'épreuve de sa vie. Magnifique.
