Adeptus Astartes

Do Eagles Still Circle the Mountain?

Captain Uriel Ventris and his battle-brothers descend on the world of Sycorax to cleanse it of the ork menace that has plagued it for centuries. But when the battle goes awry and all contact is lost with his fellow captain, Fabian, Ventris and his warriors are pushed into a fighting retreat. As the greenskins slowly overrun the Ultramarines positions, hope of survival rests on Mount Shokereth. But a mystery surrounds this ancient edifice, a secret lain dormant for millennia.

Wolf King

The Lord of Winter and War
The Space Wolves were set upon by the forces of the Alpha Legion before they had even recovered from the Razing of Prospero – hounded to the edge of the Alaxxes Nebula, in desperation Leman Russ called out to his primarch brothers for aid. None came. Now, with their fleet stranded and supplies dwindling, the warriors of the Rout face almost certain death amidst the rust-red clouds of the nebula. But what a glorious end it shall be, worthy of the sagas of old, and Alpharius’s sons will soon learn that a cornered wolf is always the most deadly.
4.5/5

The Caged Wolf

The thirtieth Great Hunt is over, and all the Great Companies except one have returned to the Fang – Logan Grimnar and the Champions of Fenris are unaccounted for. As the Fang readies itself for attack by the forces of Chaos, Ulrik the Slayer takes a taskforce to the Eastern Fringe, Logan Grimnar’s last known location. Here, on a dead world in orbit around a dying star, the Space Wolves find themselves pitted against an unexpected enemy – the Tau.

Feast of Lies

After a Great Hunt, the Space Wolves return to the Fang to regale each other with tales of their glory. Only Logan Grimnar is absent. When a native tribesman speaks up in his stead and tells of how the Great Wolf has discovered the dead body of Leman Russ, there is uproar. Do they dare believe this vile rumour, what is the fate of Logan Grimnar and why has he not returned? As a quest is begun to find their missing lord, it falls to Ulrik the Slayer and Krom Dragonsgaze to discern the truth amidst the feast of lies.

The Hunt for Magnus

It is the end of the thirty-second millennium. For two thousand years, since the fall of Prospero, the Space Wolves have hunted their greatest foe, the quarry who escaped them on that benighted world: Magnus the Red, sorcerer-primarch of the Thousand Sons. Now, Great Wolf Harek Ironhelm has the traitor primarch’s scent... Determined to finish what Leman Russ began, Ironhelm sets out to capture and kill his prey, and the Hunt for Magnus begins.

The World Engine

For months, the World Engine has blazed a trail across the Vidar sector, destroying planets and devastating every fleet sent to destroy it. Now, the Astral Knights Space Marine Chapter enact a daring plan to get to the heart of the mighty edifice and bring it to an end. Crashing their battle-barge into the Wolrd Engine, they land upon its surface, seeking its heart. Confronted by sinister necrons, the fate of the Astral Knights hangs in the balance, along with the lives of untold billions.
2.5/5

Nouvelle déception pour une série en dents de scie. The World Engine n'a rien à offrir et est une opportunité ratée de voir un Chapitre méconnu comme les Astral Knights s'opposer aux nouveaux Nécrons.

A Son's Burden

The Blood Angels call for aid, and the Flesh Tearers answer, but Gabriel Seth’s warriors are already engaged in battle against traitorous cultists on the dark world of Nekkaris. As Seth and Chaplain Appollus prepare to leave for the Cryptus system, Sergeant Eschiros and his Scout squad fight behind enemy lines, unaware of the almighty sacrifice they may soon have to make.

Trial by Blood

Gabriel Seth is on trial for his life, and for the very existence of his Chapter. The Flesh Tearers, scions of Sanguinius and cousins to the noble Blood Angels, stand accused of deviancy and brutality beyond that which can be tolerated. As Seth recounts his history of defending the Imperium, his judges – the Masters of other Blood Angels Successor Chapters – must decide the fate of the Flesh Tearers.
3.5/5
